If the BG contacts me and I am a C, I'd try to convince him to make it public or I would make it public myself. In fact, because I wouldn't be able to verify whether he's indeed the BG, I would simply let everyone know about the exchange. @Alen, why didn't you make the conversation public? What was with the implications but not the whole story?

I think it's time for the real BG to come out if it's not Snobist. No point in hiding anymore. The D should NOT contact Snobist yet. Again the real BG has to come out if Snobist is bullshitting.

Now, if Snobist is the BG, and Alen is a G, what would he do after getting the BG's message? He'd try to 1) verify it in the thread by "suggesting" that Snobist is the BG but NOT revealing the whole convo and 2) convince the D to come out. Didn't he do both of these?

Your posts don't make sense either. Snobist could be the worst player but he'd have still revealed himself publicly if he was about to get lynched. He would NOT have been lynched and you couldn't have done anything about it.

Why are we all talking like it is the standart play all of a sudden for the BG to claim day one?

As a C I would'nt even care the BG approched me this early or if the D his well hidden. It has no meaning to me as a C. I will suggest to him to stay hidden until the D claims he got a G and ask himslef for the BG to contact him

I definitely agree about the second part.
If someone comes out, the detective can investigate of the two BG’s.
As for the lynching part, I‘d go with Tomice. I believe Alen to be an original C, given his initial posts, but he could very well have been recruited by now/tomorrow.
