How is that an own goal on the gif. I don't know about it being his favourite gif but my initial thought was "maybe he's a G and he's saying we scored a goal".

You arent following. I mean its litterally impossible for the lawyer to have been a recruited G when he used his power tonight. Because you are allowed to recruit AFTER the first nights deadline, so before that, nothing happend, no recruiting, no nothing. Technically speaking, lawyer can be recruiting as we typing tho, after deadline, since they allowed now.

Because he as a footballer is a (really bad) goalie, and the goalie is being embarrassed in that meme gif, with a cheeky goal between the legs. So that gif is not meant as a celebratory one lol, more of an embarrassment, which kinda supports your theory of you posting it lol.
