I think we should all do it.
And before every mafia game, all participants should go offline. Many times it works to catch a G, but we're wasting too much time on "why did you change your status to offline?" in every game. And many dumb civilians deliberately stay online, to use it as a proof that they're no Gs.That's not the point of the game imo.
I actually agree about going offline before the game. But why would you do it now?

But are most players Gs in this game? Most profiles are on offline mode.
I kept it offline after last game. It was set as offline in the previous forums, but the migration to this new site must have changed it to default (online) for all.

Good point. It shouldnt be relevant in the games.

he only has one try to save somone now so it's not identical to no lynch
The lawyer will at no point know more than the regular C's whether the lynch target is a C or a G, so it's a hunch game. It's a power best used in the beginning of the game when the likelihood of voting a C is higher AND because a lawyer with powers is a dangerous civilian later in the game (as he/she could be recruited).

I think it was a good move, regardless of Chocolate's role. The lawyer saving the lynch target on the first day is like a much better version of voting no lynch.
How so? We go into tomorrow knowing as little as we do today except now we probably won't have the will to vote for Choc again, so he's an unknown unless we use a D investigation on him
