I got an iMac and it's pretty, works for when I want to browse the web, download songs, transfer songs to my iPod, etc.

However I have trouble when I want to browse certain websites because I don't think they're compatible with Macs.

Same with some Word documents I made, when I open them on a PC they look weird.

It's unfortunate they're not as compatible with Windows as they say
Yeah, probably the Adobe thing because it doesn;t happen with me.

As for the Word files, I think you just have to save as it as certain type of file (I can't remember what type :embarasse)

I also generated an online form which I downloaded in pdf, and when I tried opening it in Windows it was blank (like if I never filled it out)

That cause you're doing it wrong.

Save in compatibility mode in Office and enable cookies in Safari.
