Torres did it and it showed a lot.
Everything else I agree with you. His pace would be the only good thing he would bring to the team.
Torres played for Atletico, and if that is 2nd Divison club than I hope I will burn in hell :)

Plus not to mention how bigger and better club is Atletico compared to Cologne...

Atletico spent 2 years in the second divison, and Torres played there for a year with them

Ok, I forgot that, but still he played with Atletico in Primera too, and like I said it's impossible to compare Cologne and Atletico.

i dont like using podolski as a left winger. he's always played as a striker, so if we're going for him it wont be to play him at left mid. he's done well at left mid for germany, but it's just been 3 games.

Has has looked great on the wing for Germany but that's what we have Giovinco for. A central midfielder is the priority.

I wouldn't cry if we got him, though.

Amauri (Trezeguet)
Podolski (Nedved) - Del Piero (Giovinco) - Camoranesi (Iaquinta)

Hmm...
believe me, you would.

give it some time

Podolski impressed me as a left midfielder. He would be a great option on the bench. So unless we loose a striker, I would go for him. When bayern buy Gomez, Podolski will search for a new club. And we should snatch him. He is young, wouldn't cost much, and has schown his potential a lot of times. His left foot is deadly, by the way

I dont watch a lot of Bundesliga, but i'm under the impression he hasnt been setting the world alight(Bundesliga followers, feel free to correct me). If that is the case, i do think its a bit fickle to invest in Podolski because he's having a good tournament

Podolski is talented as hell and Burke prefers him on the pitch to Klose.

He has as much weighting in descisions like this as the other 2
Ranieri is the coach, therefore he has the final say in who comes and who goes. If it wasnt like this then there be no point in having a manager.

Gigli at Juventus is not like Moratti, Berlusconi, Abramovich, etc. The money does not come from his pocket..
