Del Neri: 'We couldn't change game'

Gigi Del Neri insists “with the men at our disposal, we could not change the match” after another Juventus home defeat.
The Bianconeri had taken the lead through Claudio Marchisio, but Cristian Zapata and Alexis Sanchez secured a 2-1 Udinese victory.

“With a little more care we could’ve avoided the goals, but with the men at our disposal, we could not change the match,” shrugged Del Neri.

“We simply couldn’t avoid the way this game was going to go. Tomorrow we’ll talk it over and see what we can do to improve.”

Juve were decimated by injuries that left Alessandro Del Piero as the only fit striker, joined by makeshift forward Jorge Martinez.

Tomorrow is transfer deadline day and the club is active on the market, but have seen their offer for Cagliari’s Alessandro Matri turned down.

“It will be crucial to have some important options in attack, as at the moment we don’t have anyone who can give a real contribution.

“We don’t have the strength to turn a game around.”

So we are officially looking for a striker..... How about we pay the F*%^ing money for FORLAN or FABIANO FFS.......

I cant stand that attitude "we couldn't change the game with the men at our disposal" - thats disrespectful to your squad of players and its a defeatist attitude. How the hell is this guy ever going to lead us to any form of success when he doesn't even think he can do it in the first place????

Agreed. This team needs a big buy to bring the confidence and morale of the whole squad up.
