FUCK!!! I don't like Del Neri, he is ITALIAN!!!
lol
Honestly - Capello, Hiddink, Lippi - they seem to be free, but we get Del Neri.
Andrea - to help you with that I will cancel my subscription and stop giving money to this old whore. I think it is pointless to break my heart on a weekly basis... This is truly brainless. Our only salvation is Real buying Mourinho.
FUCK THAT!
free? 2/3 are managing at the wc whilst hiddink has taken over as Turkey's manager

I never said we would, I said Benitez would not be such an instant sucess. The Liverpool fans crave to win the Premiership something they were used to many years ago and seems to be the one thing Benitez is incapable of doing.
Yeah, but that's England. It's not really comparable to Italy.

Your whole argument is that Rafa doesn't have instant success. If anything that's what Rafa has had at Valencia and Liverpool. You could argue that Rafa's main issue is longevity of his success. But he really hasn't been anywhere long enough to measure that.

Bottom line. Rafa's better than Del Neri.

Os,

If Prandelli is that much better than Del Neri got to the Bookmakers and have a bet Fiorentina will finish ahead of Juventus next season. You would easily be quids in.

Based on track record, who would be more likely to give us the title(s), a coach who has won CL (and been runner up), won a league title (and been runner up), FA cup and Uefa cup (plus community shield and Uefa super cup, but they mean less). Or someone who is 10 years the senior of the above coach but who's best accomplishment is getting 4th spot in the league, but been average otherwise throughout his career?

I bet you that if our directors hired Usama Bin Laden as manager, there would be a few who'd say, "lets not judge him until after the season. Hope for the best."

How are Capello and Hiddink free when they are contracted long term to international sides?
A) Capello - true IF England wins the world cup. Care to make a bet?
B) Hiddink - Turkey. Less than 4 mils salary, no world cup. Are you kidding me?

So yes, even Mourinho is available for the right money. I never said FREE of charge, but free - as in NO Big Clubs behind them.

And I thought we are looking for a coach to rebuild - not another experiment or tryout?

Haha yeah Andy, thats such a laughable cop out. OFCOURSE we would support the coach at the end because he got the job and we dont have any other choice. But if we know their level of competence based on their meagre track record, its not insulting to question its, its just stating the frigging obvious.
