Porto and Palermo aren't even examples to be considered, Porto he didn't even have a chance and Palermo have Zamparini and are not a big club. Roma, sure, compare that, although at the time he was only a minor part of the problem there.

They did give it as being late on several occasions, although I remember a Porto fan saying to me that he and Pinto da Costa (notorious, Moggi-like Porto chairman) didn't agree on many things, particularly signings.

I heard that the players didn't like his strict training methods and that he also tried tp phase out alot of the older players and they didn't like this though he says was proved to be right in the end.

Judging by the players we have signed so far, I can see why da Costa wouldn't like this dude.
