those 4 are Melo - Marchisio - Momo - Poulsen

Camo is already gone, and he's not a CMF anyway

Candreva is the understudy to Diego.

Giovinco can also count as a winger.
i confused the cmf term with cam...sorry...

anyway from those 4 i think we can let one go...marchisio is our future and had a good season, poulsen is very good for a bench position. Now for melo and momo...i really hate the ideea of one having that ramadan which fucks up his play every season. We payed so big money for melo and he didn't delivered this season...maybe next one?..maybe not...if we really going after d'agostino or aquilani i would sell him because we will get some nice money on him...the other 2(poulsen and melo) could be selled at -8 milions

if we play a system of 2 central midfielders, no regista or any BS like that, then that quartet is pure quality, I doubt many teams have 4 better than that...one should not judge them on this year's results, a proper Coach will get them to work.
we don't have something like that..only if you put diego and candreva/marchision in those 2 positions. Momo/melo/poulsen can't creeate shit..can't help us offensively in any way.

i think we will play a 4-2-3-1, we wont really need the DM's to do much but pass it to one of the creators and let them do the work.

it depends on what we play next season...4-4-2 with attacking wingers and fullbacks, or 4-2-3-1 with 3 AMFs in front of them, both could work well...they showed glimpses of that this season when Ciro played Gio - Diego - Camo.

Ok first of all, read what I wrote. I said you take your speculation into CERTAINTIES, and that was what aggravates me. Take the first higlighted part. How the hell can you know that? You wanted another coach. Fine. Most of us did. But that does not warrant statements like that. How the hell do you know what he is capable of?

I think you are wrong about the Hiddink part. No formal contact has ever been confirmed. This is hersay and speculation. It has been verified that we contacted Benitez in January. Nothing Else.

The last part highlighted: Again. I agree with the things you write, but I don't necessarly think that can't be the case with Del Neri as you are so certain about. It is not about them available or not, it about what Del Neri is capable of.

Now you might get to say told you so in 5 months time. I hope not, because I hope Del Neri succeeds. Until then you don't get to put a QED in the end of your posts.
He's never been at a big club. How can he know what it takes, unfortunately he's only going to learn on the job, which we have no time for.

The Hiddink part has actually been documented. His agent came out and said there was contact with Juve, but the board wasnt clear about their objectives.

This thing about being certain is based on experience. Just like we'd be certain Capello would be a success here, we are 'speculating' based on his CV and previous years of experience. In the same way, you know Del Neri cannot do much better than what he has done because he has a lot of years behind him.

Like you, I hope he and we succeed, but if we're to look at our chances of success I'd say those odds have taken a beating with this kind of appointment whether you want to admit it or not. As for the QEDs, I think I'm going to need em, everytime I reply to your posts. ;)

Imagine Samp choked on the last day.. would we still have gone for him? I wonder how much marotta's signing influenced bringing del neri, or is it just the fact we ran out of options. Its time like these where I wish we had ranieri back. Backwards or fowards, I hope Del Neri prooves me wrong and eats my words but this is backwards. We will either scrape a CL spot or get Europa again. :disagree:

Del Neri enthusiastic about Juve
Tuesday 18 May, 2010

Gigi Del Neri has spoken for the first time since leaving Sampdoria about the enthusiasm he feels at taking charge of Juventus.

Interviewed in Tuttosport, Del Neri is under no illusion as to what is expected of him.

“In effect I feel a great enthusiasm. Juve represent a point of departure or even one of arrival. At a club like Juve you are forced to carry great objectives. I will have to be demanding with the players, the club and myself,” he said.

“It's always the club that makes a Coach great, not the opposite. I have to take in the news. We [at Sampdoria] have been so focused on the Champions League that I have not had time to think about it.”

When asked if he is honoured to train Juventus, Del Neri said: “I am sincere. It's been much more difficult to take over a team that has won everything. Here there is the need to rebuild a mentality.

“There aren't any doubts on the fact that the components of the squad know how to play football. I think it's necessary to work on the attitude.”

Finally Del Neri was asked if he expects Gigi Buffon to stay at the club.

“I hope so. I will speak to him. Gigi is Italy's goalkeeper. It wouldn't be easy to replace him. He is someone who can give a lot on the pitch and in the dressing for the ambition and the hunger for victories that accompanies him.

“Buffon and Del Piero represent a lot as you can imagine,” he concluded.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now if he would say the same for Trez, Del Neri just might start off on the right foot. At least in my book. :p

he's spot on about what he said about the attitude of the players...there is simply no determination there.
The thing is zac was spot on too. He knew where the problem lied and always talking about mentally we are not right etc, nothing changed.

true..in those 2 systems i can see melo and momo...and i hope he'll play that 4-4-2..it's more balanced than the 4-2-3-1...the thing is diego...if we will make the strategy to play him, than it's gonna be a 4-2-3-1.

18-20 Million Pesos perhaps  :shifty:
Zimbabwean Dollars, actually.
:lol2:
