I think that Del Neri deserves some credit for Melo, but I think his improved form is mostly because of his fighting spirit. And because it is his second year.

I think his failure with Brazil was perfect for Juve.

Melo will have felt the whole world was ganging up on him, which made it easier for Delneri to step in and appear the good guy and give Melo the backing he needs to go out and perform well.

Absolutely. Funny how players often improve during their second year in a new team, a new league, with a bit more structure and consistency.

I think the injuries played a big part, we had to drop midfielders back to cover Pepe and Motta who were bad fullbacks. Also we lost a creative player in Martinez to injury and Sissoko was the only real option left on the bench. At least Momo made that attacking play :D

You know, the one funny thing I like about having Delneri as our coach?

When we win once in a while against teams like Milan, I get to laugh, "You got beat by Delneri, for crying out loud! :lol:"
