i read something about there being riots when baggio was transfered to juventus a long time back.
were those riots held in florence beause they lost one of their start players..or in turin because a player who did not want to join juventus had been bought?
and yes,does anyone have a link where i can read the whole thing about baggio transfer to juventus?
how come he wasnt given a cold shoulder by the fans when it was obvious that he did not want to play for us?.

The riots happened in Florence AXL. And to the best of my knowledge, Juve supporters were split as far as their love for Baggio went, but all that came to a head, when he refused to take a penalty against Fiorentina in his first league match against them as a Juventino. In '96, he was transfered to Milan.
