This is partly to do with him playing under Conte for a season, and partly because in possession he is calm and is intelligent enough to fit in with the team. It's something I've admired since I first saw him, he just keeps it simple when he needs to and doesn't hastily smack the ball in any direction. I don't think we should give up players that are capable of doing that. Hopefully he starts in our next Coppa Italia game.
Absolutely.

There were a few nice quick passes with pretty much no time to react at all that he did well in. If it were Sissoko/Melo, for examle, the situation would have been different. The kid is cool in the middle of it all and isn't afraid to get creative, take a player or two on when needed, etc. People claim Pirlo hangs on to it too much too often in games, Marrone did it once or twice so people should lay off the alarm bells, it shouldn't worry anyone too much.

He keeps it simple, doesn't over complicate the play making life difficult for his teamates around him. He is strong as well, something I noticed too from a while ago.

And you

I wouldn't give him up on loan, not when we have three CM spots and two back up players. He'll be useful if one of them is rested for a game.
Yep.

We called this kid first from a long time ago. Let's see if we were right. :D

He needs to be around Pirlo, Vidal and Marchisio...not some provincial team. You want him to learn his role, well he has 3 great players each with different characteristics to learn from and gain an understanding of Contes tactics that he won't learn anywhere else but here.

No more loans man, not for youth players in their twenties. It's time to start grooming them from here and not some other club who we have no control where they play and how they develope our own players.
I agree with you and that would be a perfect scenario if he gets to play from time to time and gain experience, such thing i'm afraid he won't have the chance to do here especially if we get other CM in January like Conte wants.
But i'm sure Conte we'll do the right thing because he's actually one of Marrone biggest admirers and he believes in him.

It's up to Marrone to convince Conte to pass on a CM. I think after last night he certainly gave him something to think about before Jan 1st.

He did yeah, but he also had one moment of owning two Bologna players. If anyone wants to gif it (Alex-444 :klin:), it's the moment at the beginning of minute 21:00.

I don't want to be reminded of some of the times Melo tried something with the outside of his foot and spectacularly failed, about time we had passers in the team.

Yep.

If Conte has faith and he gets the playing time, there's no reason he can't prove himself.

Convince Alen now. We need him on our side.
