And I didn't read books yet, but how come in such fortress there was sth like small - small like hell - hole in wall?
The only one explanation: to capure it in other part of story in book/movie

and oh cause: Gollum Gollum
There are good wallpapers on the on the official site. But I couldn't attache it in 800x600 size cause too big.

btw: one of the best scene in movie was when Gollun showed first time his split personality and was talking to himself, really brilliant!

Yes for me too. I like them, but from the other site they seems to be cold. Do you remmeber these scenes from Helm's Deep? These rows of elves and all faces were so cold. Like with no feelings.

Legolas was different ;)

What was the most stupid thing in movie for you?

Best character from lotr = Tom Bombadil
pardon my ignorance Paul, but I really don't know who that is! I mean, I can't remember him from the films, so either he was omitted from the films or only appears in the third one?

nothing beats Gandalf being reborn more powerful than Saruman really! but then what you said about having the weak section at Helms deep..I mean why would you have a drain in the middle of your castle wall? :D

EXACTLY! A drain  in the middle of wall  huge like hell  and only blind people couldn't see it
After showing it I was doing  through the rest of the movie and of course I exachanged it from time to time with :wallbang:

I was asking but maybe everyone missed that question: does anyone know, whether they had some battle's consultant?

Gandalf being reborn more powerful than Saruman - well they gave some stupid explanation about that in movie.

Did you like that battle scenes in Deep Helm? Brilliant IMO

yes, I love at the start particularly, when all the elves are kicking ass with their long range shooting! And Haldir in close combat rocks

hehe You'll have to read the book to find that out!

These are things where the film lets the book down... the drain is explained in the book and makes perfect sense.

Gandalf wasnt reborn more powerful than saruman.... he always was, this was elluded to in the first film but not explained.

All that was showed in very realistic way. All creatures looked like alive
Close combat - that would be perfect - and I still have no idea: did they consult this battle with any specialist like the Middle Ages specialist? Cause there were few things that made me  again.

But elves with their arrows really were scaring and great.

btw: did you like Gimli and his stupid sayings from time to time?

I have to find the darn things first! I haven't read em for bloody ages!
Bombadil isnt that well explained in the central 3 books but basically he is one of the Valar, Aulë

eg. he is more powerful than gandalf, saruman, sauron, morgoth, aragorn etc etc all togeather

how bout manwe? is he more powerful that manwe?

OH YEA! LOTR knowlage here :D
Unknown... Both Sulimo and Aulë are Valar so they should be fairly equal.
Some would say Sulimo due to his position as Vice-Regent of Iluvatar , though if you look at the things Aulë / bombadil have done then you may look no further than him
