Scotland has several fine stadiums, but would have run into issues around having them all in one city.

SFA would have lost interest once they learned Rangers and Celtic wouldn't be allowed to play in the tournament.

    Is that a serious question?

    We've never hosted a major one.

    There was talk of a joint bid with the Irish for a Euros (possibly the one that Portugal ended up hosting), but I can't remember if a bid was actually submitted or if it was just spoken about.
    I'm not sure, I was probably trying to be ironically cuntishly funny.
