chin up man everything in life happens for a reason. has beena while since you were on but the forum never forgets(unless you are snoop of course)
i broke up with the girl i thought i would marry, now i am with a wonderful woman, who is so much better than i ever imagined. life does kick you in the teeth sometimes but you gotta grit your teeth and get on with it,good things will come your way.

on another note, i work in orthopaedics and trust me this does not mean the end of your football days, i also play 5-a-sides with 5 guys who were told never to play again abd the buggers are still better (and faster)than me:oops:

on a plus note mate

i know that. but if you were cheated whats the point of getting her back? to be fucked over again? try to forget her. thats the only way.

sorry to hear about the injury, thats tough..
Exactly. She would be dead to me. Don't think about her, do other stuff.

The injury IS horrible, but many athletes have overcome it, I'm sure you'll be one of them.

Don't listen to Menace.

Not that I want be an ass, but it can be the end. He'll have to work very hard if he wants a complete rehabilitation and even then it isn't an easy injury. Then again, like I said, lots of people have overcome it.

Women have too much power in a weird sort of way.
Yes, but men bestow that to them in some way.

There are wise words here that will seem totally nonsensical in your current state, arc. But trying to shoehorn something that's not going to work is going to leave you with more heartbreak in trying to prevent its eventuality. There's no magic you can do to change that fate ... she either has to be on board, or you're just going to kill yourself trying to get her to do or go somewhere she doesn't want to go.

Let that cheating b1tch be someone else's problem ... you deserve better than that garbage.

thanks a lot guys, i will try hard to move on
I think the thing is that you can't expect it to be quick. It's going to take time. Once you recognize that, it might not seem as bad. You just can't rush it, really.

Most do recover, it's just that it requires a lot of hard work. I know several guys who have overcome such injuries, but they all had to work pretty damn hard to get back to where they were before the injury. The longest I've been out was only six weeks and already I was devastated by it. Six months must be horrible. I hope you make it, arc.
