Prostate cancer maaaan. He is gonna die in the worst way imaginable. Like that Secretary said, he has been sentenced now from higher court with a sentence that can not be revoked. So in my oppinion setting him free is not such a bad thing. But hey, i know its easy to talk when none of my relatives have died there. Opinion is split.

I'm not entirely sure what to make of the whole thing. I suspect a deal was cut because his conviction was pretty dodgy in a number of ways and may well have been over turned on appeal.

This way he drops his appeal, he gets home to die and a line gets drawn under the whole thing.

Everybody wins.
