Been a fan of Openda since Lens. Never thought we’d sign him, always seemed PL bound. People compare him to David, but they’re nothing alike. Openda’s got pace, isn’t afraid of contact, and brings a totally different dimension.

My only worry is whether he struggles in Serie A with less space to exploit.

44 million is a lot of money for a player who scored 13 goals in 45 matches last season. Even Vlahovic has better numbers last season.

Im positive, as always. 13 goals, but also 11 assists.
The whole RBL was underperforming tbh, Sesko who went for 75+m had 21G6A as a main striker for them.
The depth and quality we have in attack is massive, the only concern is defence.

Mainly the defence but also the fact we couldnt find a guy to bench Locatelli.
I dont think Locatelli is bad but I think we can still do better, tough to find but achievable with hard work.

I dont think we even tried, but maybe, if the attack is more fresh and creative, Loca passes wont hurt so much. I really hope we try to play a hybrid formation and try to put 4 attackers in the first team somehow, should be doable at least vs lesser opponents.

I don't mind Openda but I have no idea what are we trying to achieve.

I never liked the idea of having 2 players behind the striker. Our formation is rather retarded.

We want to have players that thrive in 1vs1 situations. Yildiz, Openda, Chico and Zeghrova are all capable of beating their marker creating an advantage.
