“He is frankly embarrassing. I’ve seen him do things that we humans have never seen on a football field. Kelly is not reliable. The goal he allowed against Parma, at this level, was embarrassing.”
I do think the level of scrutiny he’s facing is way too much. This pundit should be ignored. How likely is it a bench player at Newcastle will fit easily in a very unreliable and unstable team? I don’t think Veiga did a much better or worse job. At the very least he should get a chance in a more stable environment before being mocked publicly imo
He's another GdS journalist so everything they say is hyperbole meant to harm. Kelly isn't great but what an exaggeration. He mustn't've been old enough to remember precious Inter players from the Moggi era.
That's the problem, when you're buying an English bench player and expecting him to be ready to play for Juventus and a team that has to win to stay top 4. It's all part of a wider problem.

Actually looking back at some of his transfers at Napoli, he did have a penchant for signing one or two shitty, mediocre random Englishman. Nathaniel Chalobah anyone?

It’s such a weird problem though. Like nobody on this forum would even suggest going after some mediocre hack from the Premier League. It’s even more random than FC25 CPU.
