Still, I merely looked at his name in our transfer headlines and thought, "Did we sign a centerback or an early reject from Love Island UK season 11?"
This probably would of benefited the club better financially. It would have at least gave the social media accounts a boost.

Lord Kelly already watches the training:

Lord Kelly is a good name. I like it.

I think it's better for everyone's mental health if we turn him into a meme player and just have fun with it. We should cheer and praise every mistake he makes and delude ourselves into thinking this was the best transfer ever.

Otherwise we are all going to die of stress related illnesses.

well beign totally honest, im starting to accept this deal and looking at his video i really think he could be useful here. He cant be worse than Savona or McKennie playing left back afterall right? I think for example that he is a much better choice than Kiwior, who would welcomed here by majority of the forum, Kelly looks like twice the player Kiwior is.
There is ofc his injury history, this is my biggest concern right now.
Yes, we should be more positive now.
Worst part of this signing is the total possible total transfer value. loan fee €3m + option/obligation €14.5m + bonus €6.5m. We dont know what attached to the bonus. but if it means we become Serie A Champions, Champions League Winner or Club World Cup Winner, it should be still Ok. One positive point is that Kelly take a pay cut to join us from around €9.4m (£7.8m) means €4.9m net to €2.5m with us as reported if true.

He is not the best CB/LB we can get, but based on what available on the market, he could be the answer. Based on last season stats in Bournemouth, he is quite solid in terms of duels won, aerial won, defensive action. And he has good sense of long range passing. So we lost Bremer and Cabal who are good in both of defensive aspect and got replaced by a player who based on stats is quite good in the same aspect.

In Newcastle, he still wasnt got enough opportunity. but in some of the opportunity playing in EFL Cup, FA Cup and in early season against Spurs and Chelsea, he was quite ok. If he performed very excellent there, we won't get him for this amount. So just be positive that Kelly will be a success with us.

Eddie Howe has admitted he was “very reluctant” to see Lloyd Kelly leave Newcastle United on transfer deadline day and said that it “wasn’t necessarily” his decision.

Kelly, who signed for Newcastle on a free transfer last June after leaving Bournemouth, has joined Juventus on loan for the remainder of the season with an obligation for a permanent £20million deal to be completed this summer.

While Howe acknowledged that sales would “benefit us in the long-term,” within the restrictions of the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability rules (PSR), he said that Kelly’s departure was more about “controlling some sales that navigated us out of a problem.” In other words, there was no scope for Newcastle to do anything proactive last month.

“I don’t think it was necessarily my decision to let him leave,” the head coach said about Kelly. “I think it’s very reluctant from our side because Lloyd is a player that had just recently signed and we believed in him and his qualities. It was slightly frustrating for him that he hadn’t played more, in part really due to the form of the other players around him.

“But I think we’re in the world – and we have been this window – of trying to manage PSR and trying to make decisions that benefit us in the long term, and this is one of those decisions. So, Lloyd leaves with our best wishes. He’s certainly shown an exemplary attitude in his time here. I’m sure he’ll do well in Italy, and it’s an exciting new challenge for him.

what is... long-term?
I don't understand that word. Is it important for the management of a club? Explain the jizz, I am a Juve fan so don't make it too complicated.

"The English footballer, as a non-EU citizen, must obtain a visa for a work permit in Italy, now it's a real race against time.

At this time, the paperwork to obtain the visa is in progress.

The bureaucratic issues to arrive at the filing of the contract are being resolved: we are therefore proceeding towards the filing of the contract. "
