Newcastle is murdering us! They have had 66 percent of possession....it's only 1-0 though in the 82nd minute, so we still have a small chance

Yes, but it is widely believed he is crap. So he cannot be overated, unless he is actually worse then people believe him to be.

great result for morale! should give us confidence in the next couple days, and we will need it. must-win games against Blackburn and Everton coming up.

Baros claims he wants to meet Juve! I think he's nuts, and I hope it doesn't happen. from the LFC website:

Milan Baros has revealed that he'd like to see Liverpool drawn against Juventus in the quarter-final of the Champions League.
The Czech striker, a scorer in Wednesday night's 3-1 success in Leverkusen, admits he is not keen on the idea of an all-English tie against Chelsea and is also wary of the threat French league leaders Lyon could pose.

He says: I don't want Chelsea. And then I also don't want Lyon. Even if they are not so famous they are a really dangerous team. I would like to play against Juventus."

Reflecting on the victory in the BayArena, he added: "Of course, we are delighted to be in the quarter-final. We just wanted to get through and we did that.

"I was happy to score because it was my first goal since coming back from injury. It's been a long time but hopefully I can now go on and score a few more. The most important thing though was that we won the game and got through."

Baros is relishing the prospect of an exciting end to the season and believes progress in the Champions League can help Liverpool in their pursuit of fourth placed Everton in the FA Barclays Premiership.

"I don't know why but we have played better in Europe than the Premiership this season. Hopefully though we can take heart from this performance and push on to catch Everton in fourth place.

"If we beat Blackburn and then Everton in the derby match, we will only be two points behind them. I hope we will be successful, the win in the BayArena should help us.

"As far as the Champions League is concerned I don't like to predict how far we will go. All we know is that we've got a two-legged tie in the quarter-final to look forward to and we're all awaiting next Friday's draw to see who our opponents will be.

"We want to do our best in the Champions League but we can't give ourselves objectives such as winning the Champions League. There are many great clubs now.
