the only problem with sacking him is who would replace him?
I don't know. David Moyes is an excellent manager, despite Everton's current difficulties, so he'd be my first choice. O'Neill would be bloody hard to get away from Celtic, but maybe if he finds himself losing Larsson and with no money to replace him, he'll think hard before rejecting an offer. There are always options.

lol-I only know a couple, actually, and rarely use them: lol, iirc, btw, and of course, WTF ;)
Ah, wtf, I knew I forgot one. :D

mikhail Liverpool fans would never accept Moyes because of his bluenose connection.
Good point. I'd totally overlooked that.

Am I wrong, or is his current employment Moyes only connection with Everton? If so, would that really make him unacceptable to the Liverpool faithful? Surely they'd see it as getting one up on Everton.

Liverpool will face Levski Sofia, with the first leg at Anfield on 26 February and the return on 3 March.
We should deal with them pretty quickly.....I hope Owen and Kewell will be healthy soon! We really need them

Liverpool go for Nottingham Forest defender Michael Dawson
here is the story from the BBC

Liverpool 'target Dawson'
Dawson is coveted by the top clubs
Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier may move for Nottingham Forest defender Michael Dawson to ease the Anfield crisis.

Houllier has hinted he is unlikely to make any major signings during the January transfer window.

But he could change his mind if he is able to prise England Under-21 defender Dawson away from The City Ground.

Forest would be tempted by a bid of £5m for the 20-year-old, with Houllier on alert after missing out to Rangers on Auxerre's Jean-Alain Boumsong.

Liverpool's defensive resources have been badly hit by long-term injuries to Stephane Henchoz, and Dawson has long been regarded as one of the brightest young prospects around.

Forest need cash and have made a disappointing start to the new First Division campaign.

Liverpool's next game is against Wolves-shouldn't be too bad...I predict a 2-1 win for Liverpool.
I also noticed that our final premiership match is against Newcastle-could be another CL decider, like last year, but hopefully with a better result ;) Forza Liverpool!!

Newcastle have re-found their form so I think it's gonna be tough for Liverpool to win 4th place, unless they really gear up, but with the current squad I doubt it.

The silly talk up here is O'Neil to Liverpool and Moyes to Celtic (former player and lifelong fan).

Don't put your money on either
