Alonso's injury is a huge blow, luckily for Liverpool it occured at a time when they can make purchases. Riley denied Pool a clear penalty and in truth you guys deserved a point.

I happened to catch most of the Chelsea game, I hope that Liverpool gets a striker in the window, because that's the only thing that kept them from kicking the crap out of Chelsea.

Not enough. I was very disappointed when Barca let him go, but obviously they didn't need him.

BTW, I'm so glad the Riise is finally getting his due. He rotted on the bench far too long, and I always knew that he was a great talent.

Yeah, Riise really is thriving atm. He's one of the better left-footed players in the Premiership right now and he sure can strike a ball.
