I completely disagree with the first part. Dzeko was as willing to come here as Llorente is today. We never went beyond am initial offer if at all we made one. It's not about spamming their fax machines. You'll notice, every big club or the ones you consider Juve to be in the league of, operate very differently than we do thanks to Beppe. When it comes to a specialised position you have to have fixed targets to get you your intended target or close to it. Maybe you don't go after pipe dreams like RVP, but on the other end of the spectrum, you domt go after Bendtner either. What happened this summer is exactly what happened last summer. This shows hoe poorly Marrotta operates, without a fixed plan and budget allocation. Suarez would've come here for 30m. We would be overpaying by 3-4m but it would be completely worthwhile, xoz he'd fit our wage structure too. Liverpool aremt even in the CL, and they would see it as a great opportunity to monetize, but we had to make the move when they were uncertain, not after the player was convinced to stay with a new contract. Same applies to JoJo. 25m would be enough to convince shitty up until last week IMO, but we just went looking for the cheapest option. You will never ever close a deal in your best interests if you operate like that. Nor will you close a deal or intact open talks, if you're attitude is one offer: take it or leave it. Marrotta operates at Juve like he would at Sampdoria.

Imagine, he is the man to have gotten rid of Trezeguet. The mighty fucking Trez, and hasn't replaced him in three seasons here. He talks out of his arse every year. Remember last year hoe he said Vucinic won't block the top player arriving? And then this year, it wasn't his arse talk, it was also a logically required move. But he failed, and he failed so misrrably that you have to see how worrying the pattern of his failures are, three seasons running. Remember the Alves saga last year when we absolutely needed a cb and he failed?? Thankfully Barzagli who was brought in as Legro's replacement found the form of a lifetime under Conte's tactics and guidance.

There's no doubt Marrotta has his strengths, picking up on decent players in the 15m bracket and being good wi valuing contracts. But this team is now harboring ambitions in Europe and for that it needs to sign a certain quality of player. Marrotta is incapable of netting that quality, which is why I feel his job is done. If he coudlnt do it with 30m euros, an undefeated champion rage, a new stadium and board backing, then he's never going to be able to do it. And Llorente I stand by it, will not come next summer. We will need to still pay against the odds to get a new striker, perhaps even more than we would have to this summer, if we played our cards right. This was as good a chance as we had and he blew it. Massively.
I agree that he really seems indecisive and waits far too long to close deals or push further and get the man he wants. But saying he failed is overstatement.

I do agree we need a better person in charge, but that really ain't saying anything since better is always better, but please suggest what is available from the better ones we could replace Marotta with? Considering we will have a very big chance to win Scudetto again and even go out of the group stages and then luck will make a really big part on how far we progress, I see no reason to rush decisions to loose the stability we have at the moment. I mean it's not like we are regresing like we were in the past few years, we now are progressing forward. These things take time when you don't have oil money behind you, you can't just buy every position on the team, you can't promise to players who come that they will play alongside ibras, tevezes and agueros of this world it's a different ball game.

I'm really not that happy about this bendtner guy, i really dislike him, but i'm happy that we didin't bought pazzini for 8-10 mil and with a long ass contract. Now we will be able to ditch the dane at the end of the season and have a spot for a new forward.

Hoffenheim have reached an agreement with Ryan Babel over the immediate termination of his contract that originally ran until the summer of 2013.

No he's a joke please not him :sergio:

Though i think he'll most likely join Viola.

Is Drogba available ? lol I'll be delighted if we somehow try and snap him up.

Gazzetta says Juve has agreed with Llorente terms to sign a precontract in January. 4.5M + bonuses (I think this is higher than the initial offer because of the future high wage offers he would get)

It looks like just speculation, but gazzetta doesn't really say good things on Juve just for the sake of it, like Tuttosport. It's pretty logico though.

This would be great. Hopefully he could come for stg like 5/7M in January. But even if he doesn't and come on a free in July, it would be a free way to sign a WC WLB and an SS or CB. Our future would be absolutely bright. Llorente still has stg like 4 more good or great years.
