Kinda makes you wonder how much we could get him for now then
must be on crazy wages.
Why didn't we *just* sign Alex Teixeira?

A few years ago he said he wanted us, and he probably doesn't want to play in a crater made by an artillery shell.

Can someone explain why we would pursue Hernanes over him? Is it experience?
not possible after Sandro and Cuadrado. non-eu player that's not registered in calcio.

Tried watching but eventually stopped it is all the same
He is a good player not an amazing one but just a good one... he does too much crossovers and shoots whenever he got the chance - a think I guess he`ll do much less here...
Also his flip flops will kill him someday..

Do I think he is better than nothing?! YES!
Do I think he is the player we needed the player who will take us to glory?! HELL NO!
The clip is all about showing he is much better then a random decent CM like Soriano. Yeah Hernanes is fairly greedy with possession, he is all about dribbling with his excellent technical skills and shooting like hell all the time.

Hes a good player overall but too much bullshit to be honest. He fucks around with the ball way too much. That won't work here.
We need exactly someone like him, who can keep the ball under pressure and provide this team with creativity. Good signing imho.

It is dissapointing and he is a reject (though Mancini is a moron, he shouldnt be rejected for awful players like Brozovic), but on footballing terms, he is better equipped and skilled then Soriano (just a decent all around runner really) and Saponara. Defenitely you would been dissapointed alot more with Saponara if he was the panic buy (he litterally is only about half a season of good footie for lowly Empoli), its the emotional ride of this all governing us right now to see anything else as just better right now. But at the least, if we calm down, hopefully you will realize its not that drastic that half decent young players arent just automatically better because we dont have them. Hernanes is older and slower, but technically and creatively is better player then both for sure. His problem is he is merely a good player, not a top one as we and Inter needed for the AM position.

I was extremely alarmed to see you say you would prefer Soriano, so regardless of if we get Hernanes or not, you should watch clips of Hernanes for therapeutic reasons :D

Duuuuuuude, that clip :tuttosport:

Probably the main problem with this mercato is the sheer number of departures and arrivals. It's gonna take quite some time for all the new guys to gel, and with this CL group I'm not sure whether we'll be able to afford that.

We should still be fine in the league come march or something, provided none of our competitors overachieve massively.

Exactly

We got great players but we lost every leader on this team minus Gigi.

What was Marotta thinking ?

Go fuck yourself. You're the biggest bitch on this forum, despicable is the best way to describe the way you've been posting in the last month. If we had a half decent moderating team you would be banned by now. Imagine a neutral fan writing so much smack about the team, the only reason youre still here is because you say youre a fan of the team. Teraj se u kurac pizdo jedna sugava
Damn

This summer has definitely brought out the worst in some posters though, Klin and Zach probably being the prime examples.

exactly!

I mentioned this yesterday, we have no leaders anymore... one must emerge from who we have, I say it will be Marchisio because I don't think Pogba or Dybala are ready..

If he knew more when to pass/create, be more consistent and didnt slow down physically as he seems to have done, he would have beecome a top AM choice or near there about. But he is almost like an english type of AM, he gets a chance and just takes shots from anywhere. Not anywhere as dumfounded as Gaurin in that, but not far from it.

The team isnt mediocre ffs. Plenty of quality here and I am pretty excited to see more of it and these new, talented and young players once the season seriously kicks in. We needed this kind of reconstruction and it was bound to happen, maybe even a year overdue.

how was it a year overdue if we reached the final of the CL last year and were 1-1 midway through the 2nd half with Barca? and YES we are mediocre for the European stage, meaning the CL.

It wasn't ofc a year overdue, but we really needed this. Maybe Vidal's sale could have been dealt in a better way, but we did some really great moves this summer. Don't let the failure to sign top AM blur this, entirely.
