I think Osvaldo will do well with us but he isn't really a step in the right direction, if our direction is aiming for the CL next year..we have quite a few players who aren't made for the CL..

It's shocking how many here don't recognize that Matri was quite important for our first scudetto, that Marchisio is quite good and very important for this side daidictally as Zach says, that Lamela has huge potential, and that Osvaldo would be a pretty good CF as a second option to Llorente.

First off, most of those players are subs. Cacares and Osvaldo would both be great as non-starting XI for a UCL team. Second in a 4-3-3, or 4-3-1-2, Vidal-Marchisio-Pogba would be amazing, one of the best midfields in the world.

I sure hope not. Even if just on loan with option to buy. Same thing. At this point I'd take that for either Vuci or Quags. They'd likely do well at any mid-size club and we'd get a half-decent purchase price.
