To be fair I think Aulas said the other day that he would meet Agnelli in Nyon, and they would discuss there.

Those would be basic terms, anyway. Marotta does the deals, but he is still not the guy who decides money available. That is Agnelli.

My italian friend e-mailed me while he was listening to Radio Sportiva at work yesterday, and they reported that Marotta had dinner with Aulas. That he flew to meet him after Garrones funeral.

It's silly to think that Marotta isn't involved in this transfer. Agnelli might have met Aulas too, or had a chat with him or something, but at top companies such as Juventus, people don't just take over eachother's tasks. Marottas tasks has been delegated to him through contract. He is the DS, and will deal with transfers.

Not everything Di Marzio says is worth it's weight in gold.

Isn't it fairly well known that Paritici deals exclusively in development signings? Why on earth would Marrotta be side tracked on this particular deal?
