Lippi to Madrid wont work. Although hes a big fan of Madrid and Barca, i dont think hed move from Juve to Madrid. Its too blatant a move, for his beloved Juve's sake.

Ok I believe that if Lippi said :" I will give u a nice surprise" that he's staying. He knows that all the press are talking about him leaving so...the logical part is that he is staying one more year and probably depending on what Deschamps will do next year in Monaco that he will take over Lippi's place...IMO this is the possible scenario.
seems logical, I hope that he stays...

It'd be intersting if Deschamps comes to us
Interesting I agree ..
but im more excited to see how lippi will face the problems we have now ...and what will he do with a squad having the new players we are supposed to buy.
getting a new coach plus more than 3 new players is risky you know.

Risky indeed, but we need a new successful defence --> we must buy at least 1 or 2 defenders (Mexes?, Trabelsi?, Ferrari?, someone from Barca?) and that costs a lot --> we must sell Trez, which creates a problem for our attack --> we must buy striker (Cavenaghi)

And Fiore is also coming, and the situtation is clear with Kapo... At least 4 new players are coming...

exactly ...we need those four new players ..but getting them and cahnging the coach at the same time is the risky thing i think.
look at chelsea for example ..they changed 80% of the squad and they couldve changed the coach but did not !! for they new what lies beneath such a decesion ....when getting new players you need a coach who knows the club and has been coaching it for a while to help them melt in ...thats my point.

Right on, Lippi knows his job and our organisation really well, hopefully he stays... If he goes, I can't really see us to win anything next season...

why would they hire lippi?

sure they aren't having a good season and i can see them sacking quieroz but lippi hasn't had a great season either and his style of football doesn't suit the attacking play they have adopted for so many years.and if lippi cannot stand davids in the team, what are the chances that he will be able to control ronaldo,r.carlos, figo, beckham etc. + whoever is to come in the future?

and none of the real players are italian,so the language barrier will be a big one.and flying to spain will give lippi even less time to spend with his grandchildren;)

well they would want to hire lippi not because of his accomplishments this season but because he's a great coach ...i mean everybody knows we did bad this season for reasons beyond lippi's control like injuries ......
and the language barriere is never an issue when it comes to big clubs ......
all the above but im still keeping my fingers crossed that he wont leave ...especially not to Real

they may overlook this season, but i have doubts as to whether he'll want to go,especially since he wants to remain in italy...

the language issue can be a problem.quieroz speaks english(i think),spanish and portugese(obviously).as a result he can speak to the most of the real squad without a translator.same thing for del bosque(whom they shouldn't have sacked in the first place).

but, like you,i don't want to see him there either.
