Fully functional is kinda stretching it...Not everything works...I had trouble making my webcam work on it....I don't think games would work right out of the box, perhaps some tweaking and playing around would help...

Cheta just mentioned playing FM on it, which I was meaning to ask him, did it work? Last time I tried (6 month ago) it didnt...

see...as soon as i open Vmware Player from my system tools menu, it asks me to open a .vmx file!!! what do i do with that?

I never tried VMplayer, but I am assuming that its assuming that you have already pre-installed virtual machines and wants to locate it...as thats its only function...

Well its the 26th in India, but not everywhere in the world....

anyways I am already on Edgy right now, had some issues, but can't be totally related to edgy as much as wrong configuration of my partitions and GRUB....the only issue now, ironically is that VMware is not working

i'll pass on vmware than. somehow i just don't feel comfortable using shareware without paying for it in linux. it doesn't feel right. don't have that problem with MS shareware though.
