Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington feels insulted about the number of nominations the band received for this years Grammys. Chester complained to Yahoo Launch Radio Networks about the academy's lack of recognition for the band in the aftermath of the Grammy nomination announcements. Two years ago the band was nominated for three prestigious awards, including "Best New Artist" and "Best Rock Album" for "Hybrid Theory", and they went on to win under the category of "Best Hard Rock Performance" for "Crawling".

A full statement from Bennington reads:
"I personally feel that this record is better than 'Hybrid Theory'. I think there are certain songs that definitely exceed the quality of even 'Crawling'. And to not even be nominated for a track that was an album track - I mean it was an instrumental, like an interlude — personally, I'm kind of insulted. I think I'd rather be not nominated for anything than to be nominated for a track that's not even a band track. I definitely was thrown off a little bit, but who cares, really..."

Linkin Park are nominated for "Best Rock Instrumental Performance" for their instrumental "Session" from "Meteora

actually that is very insulting i think grammys and oscars are munch of crap i swar they pic really bad wnners except to lp ofcourse ..
but u know i prefr the MTV awards for recgnizing what the ppl demands are ect..

i dislike all tose nominations....

and you know why?
because i wouldn't like to know lets say that lp are working to win a grammy instead of making best sellings and satisfying their fans.
chester may feel insulted and in the end say {..but who cares...] but i believe that he does care.
lp after hybrid theory didn't take the recognotion they deserved.
i believe too that meteora is far better than ht,and i am glad that the band believes it too...

but they took the recognition they need from their fans and their conserts.

but besides that,
they are human...they also have feelings...
of caurse they had expected some awards....
and of caurse they are bitterned for not getting them.
i find it absolutelly normal....

u see lil they do feel and they do know their fans are out ther and all but a lil recogntion wouldnt bother i msyekf would love to see the win an award its just that they got nominated for somthing thats is kinda stupid...

i really agree aswell this sc may be short but it is better :d although they hybrid theroy music is amazin too they both are just absloutley amazin fanastic CD's!!

i think that everyone was amazed in the begining by ht and now,
the meteora is not smg new for the public.

it's just lp...
the old amazing lp....

they all still love and like lp but it's not the old stuff.....

they did the big bang and now they are keep walking...

oh God liliana i watched it and its amazin u feel like ur in the concert with them it is so well done this is one of the best live concert ever done! i swear and Chester my God was amazing and the crowd was wild
i sang along to every song u had to see me my perants told me to keep it down like 5 timess!!

come on i love their voice..
that song is up for a grammy nomantion and is on the matrix soundtrack
i recentley used it for this advertsiment we had to do it tunred out great my buisness teacher is like telling me i have great way with music..i started laughin at her..(since i always deal with the music in our projects , plays..ect)
if only she knew what music i listen to..
