Gedaffi sending Obama a message through the governments official spokesman. He's saying that Obama will remain his son, despite all that the US is doing, and he's calling him Baraka Hussein

for those who don't know, Baraka is an Arabic name, and is quite a common name in Libya.

He's also threatening Britain, France and the rest of Europe, he's saying that the UN does not have any right to intervene in Libya's internal affairs.

Pro-Gaddafi forces have fired four or five artillery shells at the Misrata but remain on the outskirts of the rebel-held city, a resident has told Reuters.

The resident added that the city, Libya's third largest, was calm but water supplies have been cut off.

A doctor in the city earlier told AP that it came under sustained assault well after the announcement of a cease-fire by Gaddafi's regime.

The doctor said Gaddafi's snipers were on rooftops and his forces were searching homes for rebels. He had counted 25 dead since Friday morning:

"The shelling is continuing, and they are using flashlights to perform surgery. We don't have anesthetic to put our patients down."

The funny thing is that Security Council was implementing its decisions immediately in Iraq while in Libya it does not matter how many people are killed before implementing that.

Thousands of civilians are fleeing Benghazi as Gaddafi's forces penetrate further into the rebel stronghold, Reuters reports.

Hundreds of cars full of civilians headed out of Benghazi on Saturday and drove to rebel-held areas of Libya further east, a Reuters correspondent said.

"Do we have to wait till he [Gaddafi] kills us all before the [world] acts. We are very disappointed," said Adel Mansoura, an air traffic controller fleeing Benghazi with his family and voicing the same concerns as many in the east at the failure of the West to take swift UN-authorised military action.

"When we heard the UN resolution, we were very happy and thought we had our freedom but now we have been left on our own to the killers," he said at a petrol station where dozens of other cars queued for fuel as they fled.

Others making the exodus expressed the same dismay as they fled east in the direction of the Egyptian border where many Libyans have already crossed for fear of attacks.

Gedaffi's troops have reached Benghazi, they are bombarding the west of Benghazi with missiles and tanks, terrible scenes there, and thousands are taking their families and running East. We were optimistic about the security council's decision, but up till now we haven't seen anything tangible. I fear if they wait for a few more days, it will all be too late.

Then let's hope they don't accidentally bomb a wedding convoy and apologize after that.

Don't believe anything Libyan TV says, Abdel Fatah Younis talked to Al Jazeera and laughed off those claims. I remember before he officially announced that he was with the revolution, Gedaffi came out and said that the people of Benghazi killed the brave and courageous army commander who happpens to be like a brother to me, Abdul Fatah Younis, an hour after Gedaffi's speech, A.Younis came out and announced that he is no longer loyal to Gedaffi and that he has joined the revolution

Now he's done it again. As much as Gedaffi tries, A.Younis will remain with us, Gedaffi knows how important he is to the revolution, thats why he's trying to get people against him.

I hope they don't, in all cases Gedaffi has done a lot worse.
