To be fair, he started him in barely any other match.
After he was finally recovered from a serious long term injury and match fit, and he made his first appearance in January for a brand new team… he started 8 matches and featured in 14 of the last 25 matches in all comps. Played almost 1000 minutes And that’s with competition for the spot with a long term starter who had been fantastic prior to that season. I’d say that’s a good bit of time given the circumstance

Its true that Allegri didnt use him much, I remember him talking of some mental breakdown or smth like that after the Atletico game
see above. This isn’t true. He started 1/3rd of our last 25 matches and featured in over half. Y’all acting like he just didn’t come off a serious injury and into a brand new team missing preseason and the entire first few months. Those circumstances dictated he was never going to immediately come in and be our new full time starter. The notion is laughable really lol

Some people are now kicking themselves” – Spinazzola’s agent aims dig at Juventus

Spinazzola

Despite arriving to Juventus as a teenager in 2010, Leonardo Spinazzola rarely appeared for the club. The wingback spent the large majority of his Bianconeri stint on loan at various clubs.

Luckily for the Italian, he was finally able to have his big breakthrough in Serie A as a part of Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta.

Following his two-year loan spell in Bergamo, Spinazzola returned to Turin, but only spent one season with the first team, before being shipped towards Roma in an exchange deal that sent Luca Pellegrini in the opposite direction.

Since then, the 28-year-old’s has been on a major rise, cementing himself as one of the best wingbacks in Serie A, and is now earning worldwide praise for his performances in Euro 2020.

Therefore, his agent, Davide Lippi – the son of legendary manager Marcello – took a dig at those who didn’t have enough trust in Spinazzola’s talent, without exactly naming anyone.

“I’ve been saying for years that Leonardo is a great player,” said Lippi in an interview with Calciomercato.com, as translated by Football Italia.

“I am therefore happy that he is reaping the rewards of his hard work and that some people are now kicking themselves.

“He played for some big clubs, was close to others, but now has to concentrate on his own career path and we hope to make it even better.”

Lippi was asked if the player would be happy to remain in the Italian capital.
“If Mourinho will be his coach, yes.”

most probably. you don't cry like a baby unless it's serious.

forza spina.
I think the tears were due to him knowing that was his tournament over.

Time will tell, it looked like a muscle injury to me, likely hammy as it went when he was trying to build up speed.

he slipped during running. i tore my acl the 2nd time the same way. also, the doctors examined his knee, and he couldn't step on his right foot at all (he was helped to the ground by cristante), which is pretty rare with simple muscle injuries, but unfortunately very common with acl injuries.

i'd love to be wrong though.

We'll see. I saw it as a slip because his muscle went as he was building speed. It's not unusual to struggle to put weight down after a hamstring injury.

I thought Cristante told him to go down to time waste a bit.

Fingers crossed it is nothing too serious.
