As long as spinazzola remains relatively injury free he will surpass MDS in no time, in fact I expect him to be a mainstay for the NT before long, but since mancini relies on the likes of criscito, biraghi, and emerson that wont be hard

For people that missed his debut. As has been said, looks very athletic. Very sharp in attack. Found himself on the opponent's goal line quite often in a scenario where we are not even applying pressure in possession. So it's not like he was walking into those positions. He was forcing the issue himself with eager sprints.

You can play him on the midfield flanks as well if you need to late in a match. Or pretend one of Cancelo/AS is hurt and you are starting MDS. What is the backup option there if you need to chase a goal? Darmian? Bernardeschi?

Spinazzola is so versatile, I bet he will have way more utility in the latter stages of the season.

Great news if true, he deserves to stay and seems determined to show what he can do.

As MikeM says he is incredibly versatile and we would have a nice balance at LB and RB.
