Spinazzola: 'Beautiful' Juve spell | Football Italia
Leonardo Spinazzola says his first six months back at Juventus have been ‘beautiful’, despite speculation about his future.
Spinazzola has played just three times for Juve since returning from Atalanta last summer and was heavily linked with a move to Bologna in January.
However, the the left-back is fit again after recovering from a serious knee injury and he has professed his loyalty to the Old Lady.
“These six months have been beautiful,” he told the club’s official website.
“I have recovered well from my injury and, during this time, my son was also born. To be a part of this group, with these players and at this club is fantastic.
“Juventus have always followed me in the last eight years, and they have demonstrated to have faith in me. I am very happy.
“Now I am feeling much better. After the first few games, every time I play, I improve physically and I feel much better. I am satisfied.
“We have worked hard to be at the top in these months because it’s crucial for the League and the Champions League.
“Now it’s time to think about Frosinone, a game where we need to be focused, and then we will move onto Atletico. That will be a great game.”
The 25-year-old then discussed facing Frosinone boss and former Coach Marco Baroni on Friday, plus Italy’s prospects after his recent inclusion at a training camp.
“I am happy to see him again because he is an excellent person,” he added.
“When I was 15 years old, he told me that if I wanted to play football at a high level, I needed to play as a full-back.
“However, I only wanted to play on the wing. After five years, we met again and I had to agree with him.
“We have a young group with a lot of talent and the players are proving to be at a great level.
“We have a lot to improve on still, but I think we are on the right track. The objective is Euro 2020.”

Still not sure why he doesn't play. None of our fullbacks have even been good for 2 months now.

He should be should start against Udinese and depending on how he performs should start against Atletico Madrid ahead of MDS. We needed as much attacking force and impetus as we can get next week.

Here's hoping he stays fit, because the talent has always been there. Pace like his causes all sorts of problems for opponents, and gives options that don't exist for others. But his technique and crossing is sound as well so he'll do well. Next season could be a big one for him.
