from the first conte year until 2017 (before he went to milan) he was very good. certainly good enough to start for a scudetto winning team.

since then it was a mixed bag. shit at milan, and *insert gattuso classic* at jj

his last hooray was the euros, he played a few very good games there alongside giorgio. completely fell off the cliff ever since

can we stop it with the he was only good because of barzagli and chiellini?

chiellini has never had a season were he played more than 34 league matches in a single season.

barzagli only had one season where he played more than 34 league matches in a season 2011/2012

bonucci has 3 seasons.

the stats are more damning when we look at seasons where bbc played 30+ matches in serie a. bonucci by far has the most and i'm looking at seasons where all three were here and playing.

it was bonucci who carried the defense when both chiellini and barzagli struggled to stay fit. he was just as important if just for being constantly fit

Our BBC was the original. Sadly Madrid BBC overshadowed ours with both titles and talent lol

Yeah, Id say one good season (the Sarri one) since returning to Juve + 5 or 6 before that.

one of my favorite moments of his was his crazy block on higuain during 2015/2016 season when he scored 36 goals. his block allowed juve to go on and win that match and set juve for path to win scudetto
