The key to Bonucci's Juventus exit has been the strained relationship he has with coach Massimiliano Allegri. During a 4-1 win over Palermo last season, the pair were involved in a heated row towards the end of the game in which Allegri told the defender: 'Shut up you d******d. Go f**k yourself!'As his teammates celebrated the win and saluted the home support, Bonucci quickly made his exit up the tunnel after issuing a brief reply to Allegri and as a result of the bust-up, he was left out of the squad for their Champions League clash against Porto. After that, both men effectively agreed to a truce for the good of the team until the end of the season, with both looking for Bonucci to move on during the summer.

Clearly the club picked Allegri over Bonucci. If they didn't want to move him on they would have sacked Allegri. Bonucci had no choice but to leave.
But aren't these arguments part and parcel of relationship between coach and player

Vialli: 'Allegri is a number one'
By Football Italia staff

Former Juventus striker Gianluca Vialli praised Coach Massimiliano Allegri, believing 'he's a number one'.

After having warned the Bianconeri against allowing the atmosphere to grow inside Camp Nou on Wednesday evening. the former Chelsea man admitted the path to the final would be easier if they could overcome Barcelona.

"Their self-esteem would grow, after this step they would feel like a dragon," Vialli continued in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I have to say that would be worse for Juve to meet PSG and do you know why? Today Barcelona are discontinuous and must think about the future.

"Juve are instead in a time of stability and effectiveness, and they seem to have fun when they play.

"I believe in football karma and I think after years of Italian domination, and several finals lost by virtue of superior force in Europe that I mentioned before, this team has earned the statement, the victory. As Mourinho's Inter earned it."

Is Mario Mandzukic is a bit like the Samuel Eto'o of 2010?

"Definitely, yes. Perhaps most striking was to see Eto'o in that role but those two put the needs of the team before their own. Without the collaborative spirit of Mario, things would be more complicated for [Massimiliano] Allegri.

"Allegri is fantastic, a number one. The more clever Coaches assess, analyse and find solutions; tactically they don’t put you under pressure and indeed to nullify the opponent.

"He tells players not what they want to hear but what they need to hear, and he’s different. I absolutely agree with him about the beautiful game.

"You know, what counts is to win. But then: it’s not spectacular to defend well? When I see a great defensive display I enjoy watching it. And it’s art, too. In our culture and history we know how to do it, and not everyone happens to know how to do it well."

There have been some high-profile disagreements between Juve players and the Coach this season, with one incident leading to Leonardo Bonucci being suspended by the club.

"If values and principles – even those dictated by the club – are healthy and strong, then the environment will strong and mature.

"I am always in favour of collision of knowledge, even during a row. The Coach has to share his ideas to bring players along, not to impose. Max is very good here."

He left because he pushed for it. If he behaved normally afterward all of this would have been settled, and the relationship with Allegri would have been restored. But his ego is #HungrierThanEver. Sulked instead of recognizing that he was at fault.

He chose Milan to stay in Italy, be well paid and because he's a cunt that thought his sole presence would make Milan a Scudetto contender. Whored himself to their fanbase regardless of the years he spent here and the phony relationship he had with our Ultras.

Milan are paying his wages so he owes nothing to Juventus once he leaves. If he wants to have a good relationship with their fans then he is entitled to do that.

He benefited being at Juve and Juve benefited having him here

People can't seem to understand players and managers move on that is just part of life

The Conte thread is another example of people not being able to let go and hating on a legend of the club because "he left us"

I'd agree that he owes us nothing if the player in question was not a symbol of the club. But he was a symbol, and we made him. Once he went to Milan he's been sucking up instead of having a bond with that club earned through time. He didn't go to there as a Juventus legend. Loyalty goes both ways.

I still consider Conte a legend and support him btw even if he left us. It's not comparable at all.

Some people like to create false stories to suit their agenda which on this forum is shitting on any player or manager who leaves the team because there is no possible way anyone could want to be at any other club than Juve it's just not possible

What matters is HOW he left us.

...and that he's simply not a likeable person.

Bonucci made himself, if he was no good Juve wouldn't have even looked at him in the first place. Both player and club need each other one can't exist without the other.

He didn't leave the club high and dry they had an idea he was going to leave so had Allegri on standby. If he wasn't happy with the management it's better he left and he and the club both knew that and moved on.

The truth is that he fuked up his legacy. He doesnt deserve any respect because he prefered to go to and arch rival without any respect toward us. Thats even worst that what conte did. At least conte had the excuse of the NT calling, which is a bad one anyways taking in account that he left us in preseason.

But bonucci took it to a whole new level, by being a primadonna and attention whore. No he is paying his stupidity, like it should be

Fucking roflmao

He had to leave because he acted like a spoilt brat, thinking he's bigger than the club.

They picked Allegri over Bonucci? Yes. And rightly so.
Forza the management for doing their job and booting NPD_Leo out
