I would say he was a good player, nothing more. He is/was definitely overrated by Juve fans.

I usually don't really like to judge these things from the outside, you only get an incredibly small part of the whole picture without being there yourself.

But here I gotta say that the different pieces fit together extremely well. Him getting the captain's armband and pressuring Kessie to give up the 19 for him don't help either.
