People need to stop saying Dybala and Licht needed to be punished. Completely different than what Bonucci did.

Bonucci: actually made an effort to publicly challenge and curse at/insult the coach in front of 41000 people and millions of viewers.

---

Dybala: upset at being taken off after a poor match didn't shake his hand. That's the extent of it.
Licht: confusion about him being injured, misunderstanding between he and the coach during gameplay...also visibly upset at being subbed off when he wasn't injured.

How do people not see the stark difference between the 3 instances? The club was spot on with the fine & ban and now we get to hear Allegri's side of the story today probably. Bonucci was probably told to keep his mouth shut to the media about it.

Im glad he got benched. Best to make an example off someone that is big enough and smart enough to take the punishment. Keeps unmature players in their place. HOw would a Pjaca or a Dybala or even a Rugani deal with Max saying this and being benched and everything? Not that they would react the same way as Baonucci but you cant have this attitude creep in to the locker room or else you lose it and its to late.

I just see 3 different kind of disrespects. Dybala being the softer...but licht and Leo publicly defied Allegri, gesticulating and raising his voice. It should not be tolerated.

yes, and it should start from now on. Zero toleration to unjustified disrespect.

Remember when Pogba arievd late to training on 2 occasions?, he got punished and he learned to respect authority.

:agree:

Dybala didn't shake hands, Licht barely raised his voice. Bonucci, on the other hand, insulted the coach.

I love Leo, but this punishment is completely justified.

Bonucci doesnt dislike Allegri at all.

He tought a mistake was made and wanted to help, Allegri didnt like it, the coach doesnt need to accept meddeling, and told him off.
Bonucci reacted with something like "cmon man what the $#@!", but italians tend to swear alot when venting irrtation.
He knew he was wrong, headed inside. He'll take the fine and the circle is closed.

Bonucci is a role model and a leader. They are held at higher standards cause they set them. He knows that. I'm sure he'll still be able to afford his bread with the remaining of his wages.
Good call :sergio:
