Im glad he got benched. Best to make an example off someone that is big enough and smart enough to take the punishment. Keeps unmature players in their place. HOw would a Pjaca or a Dybala or even a Rugani deal with Max saying this and being benched and everything? Not that they would react the same way as Baonucci but you cant have this attitude creep in to the locker room or else you lose it and its to late.

I just see 3 different kind of disrespects. Dybala being the softer...but licht and Leo publicly defied Allegri, gesticulating and raising his voice. It should not be tolerated.

Dybala didn't shake hands, Licht barely raised his voice. Bonucci, on the other hand, insulted the coach.

I love Leo, but this punishment is completely justified.

He tought a mistake was made and wanted to help, Allegri didnt like it, the coach doesnt need to accept meddeling, and told him off.
Bonucci reacted with something like "cmon man what the $#@!", but italians tend to swear alot when venting irrtation.
He knew he was wrong, headed inside. He'll take the fine and the circle is closed.


Bonucci is a role model and a leader. They are held at higher standards cause they set them. He knows that. I'm sure he'll still be able to afford his bread with the remaining of his wages.
