Perhaps so, and this is where I think you guys are taking it too far. It's one thing to say he had as good a season as Terry, it's another to say they are on a similar level and/or he is as good a defender or better.

People need to be careful when judging in form players and be more reserved in their judgment when comparing them to established players is all I'm saying.
And this is so true that it's painful for the eyes to read this thread.

Bonucci is no WC, and never will be. He's lucky to be part of this team. Put him in another team, and he'd be no better than Ranocchia, conceding left and right. Of course everyone's gonna be biased over here, especially after reaching cl final and call him a class defender.

Terry is easily the better player.

Bonucci has had two good seasons and one great one. Yeah, he's had his brain farts in the other two seasons (like most of his peers), but he's been improving steadily. It's not like he was shit the past two seasons and suddenly became what he was this season. What he did prove this season was that all the people who thought he couldn't cut it in a back four were wrong.
