If we could get enough money for Bonucci to buy Oscar or Isco we would be really stupid if we rejected it. Bonucci is a great centerback but buying top attacking players is expensive and our starting 11 would be much better with Oscar in it than if we had Bonucci at center back instead of Barzagli... Also Rugani will develop into a top centerback and we also have Caceras and Ogbonna. We also have Filippo Romagna ready to soon make the jump to the senior squad and he is a fantastic defender.

With such a strong defensive mid infront of him I am confident Rugani can do a great job as the backup to Chiellini and Barzagli. Is Bonucci a more important player than Oscar or Isco? I really dont think so and I find it hard to think anyone can say we would not be improving the overall squad if we made a move like that happen.

Yeah, let's rely on Caceras now. The man has started a total of 56 games for us since he came back to us four seasons ago. To put that in perspective, Bonucci started 47 games for us last season. Don't get me started about Ogbonna. Hot again, cold again Chiellini, don't know if he'll stay fit Barzagli, a raw Rugani, always not available Caceras and Ogbonna. Yeah, no thanks.
Selling Bonucci will only make sense if he's incredibly overvalued like Lulz was. For a player who has been a constant in a 4 time scudetto winning team, coming of his strongest season, 30 million would only be slightly above par.

I feel 30 million euro is a lot for Bonucci who really only had one top season in 5 years with us. That's in the ball park of what Chelsea paid for Cesc and Oscar, what United paid for Van Persie and what Atletico paid for Greizmann.
Bonucci is a good player but he is not in the class as other players for that price.

So then without thinking of transfer fee you wouldn't do a straight swap of Bonucci for Isco?
For me it would be impossible to say no to that.. Isco into the starting 11, Vidal going into the CM position, Barzagli coming in for Bonucci. Rugani as his back up, Caceras 4th choice. Our team would be much stronger than if we kept Vidal at CAM and had Bonucci playing rather than Barzagli.

Bonnucci for Isco is a no brainier for sure. I think Ruganis availability will help soften that blow, but Isco's presence in the final third will give us a whole new dimension as an attacking force.
