despite his screw ups from time to time, I'm glad this guy is so underrated. it's so hard to find a decent defender nowadays. Barca turned Mascherano into one, and recently ended up paying 20mil for a 30 year old Mathieu, who was usually a full back at Valencia. not to mention someone like Pepe has spent 8 years at Real.

People just struggle to let go of old memories. The guy took a while to settle into Juventus, and was clumsy at times. But now he's reliable and comfortable enough to let his other skills shine through. Bar Pirlo, he is the best long pass in the team. His positioning and ability to read the play is a lot better than what they wete early on and he's improved his tackling technique.

Lucky for him this season, because Giorgio has been terrible in some games.
