This is true, however, we'd hardly be able to pass the ball out of our defence or initiate an attack via our defence with any of our other CB's.
Even though I don't think that's necessarily true, there really is no harm in taking the attacking impotence away from your defence and moving it higher up the pitch lol.

With Juve having a proper target man - and actually being prepared to use him as such - I do believe there is less need for a specialist ball-playing defender in the Juve defence than there has been in the last couple of years.

I believe we lack proper attacking wingers to use his (and Pirlo's) long balls. Just imagine having a winger or two who could do the kind of run Licht did in the last match consistently.

A Bonucci fanboy :howler: if that shit aint hilarious I dont know what is.
I am, but by no means I'm trying to imply he's perfect or untouchable. Everyone knows his weaknesses, but you can't deny the fact that we need him in the 3-5-2. I'm all for dumping the formation and put him on the bench. I don't think we could do without him in the 3-5-2 though, especially when the replacement is Ogbonna.

Stop defending him Klin. Its too late now.
I'm not defending him.

It's incredible how delusional some people are
Everyone must have a scapegoat.

atleast Ogbona knows how to defend. you know, tacklke, anticipate, head, block. The basics
I can't say I perfectly agree with that. Ogbonna is faster and maybe more aggressive than Leo, but Leo's tackling if any is underrated.

Great to have you back on reason bro :D

Im not saying Ogbonna is better (yet), though he can be if given the chance and seeing how horrible Bonucci been lately (even by Bonucci standards) if this isn't the time to do so, I don't know what is.

Back on reason? Dude, you were MIA for the last 2 years at least. You have no idea what my opinion about Bonucci was until earlier today.
