Losing Bonucci would be big, but I can't even worry about it because Conte is who I'm really concerned about.
I think the Conte case can be worked around. Unlike the players, he doesn't have to sit out months of his job, it would affect him in different ways. He could continue through appeals whilst continuing his training and preparation.

Even if he can still train the team, not having him on the sideline for that long will definitely cost us many points in both competitions. Besides not being able to give the boys a boost with his support (and not to mention if he's banned from the locker room as well), this case will affect team morale and confidence and be a big distraction, shifting focus. Conte's performance may well be hampered too, as you can imagine it will be hard to concentrate on the job with this shit looming over him.

I also want our guys to prove their innocence, but I fear the worse for them because of the stupid system they are facing...
That's why I suggested they take the bargain! Also looking for the interest of Juve in this saga...

Anyways, Forza Bon Bon :delpiero:

You really don't think there's much of a difference between him being there and not?

There will be some difference, but I don't think it will cost us 'many points', as you suggest. His motivation from the sidelines is an attribute, but the strength of the team is the tempo, ethic and cohesion, and the players know that when they come off the pitch they still have to face his wrath whether he is 5 feet or 20 feet from them during the game. The standards are set, players reach them or get out of the team.

I don't want it to be the case next season where when we drop points people start saying 'we would have won with Conte on the touchline', he makes some difference there, but next season is more challenging for other reasons. From a psychological point of view the team could either unite stronger or lose focus, but I'm willing to bet on which one I think it'll be.

I think we all underestimated Bonucci's bravery. This is like David vs Goliath. Bonucci is taking on the top of the top, no plea bargain just a straight up street fight where last man standing literally wins.

Forza Bonucci. Take the gloves off and give them hell.

This is what we should`ve done in the first place rather than even considering the plea bargains, as someone away from italy following the case from whats reported in the media its clear that the prosecution is terribly weak, any good lawyer should be able pull the pants down of whatever crap carrobio, palazzi and masiello have been saying.
Forza Bonucci, Pepe and Conte!
Also another thing to note, notice how alll the other clubs who seemingly look for our support in a scrap for tv rights e.t.c. not one has come out in support.
