It's important for him to play long balls. It's not as simple as just passing to Pirlo and getting out of the way. Teams cover Pirlo *derp*. Sometimes he has to initiate the attack especially now that we are strong again. Teams immediately retreat and our CBs are left with the ball. If he just tries to pass 2 feet every time we will go nowhere.

But he has to stop with the glorious fuck ups.

Yep, kinda exaggerated how one minor mishap would entirely cloud and overally good performance.
Why does one mishap cloud a performance?

At CB and GK, it is normal to expect to be punished for every/any mistake.

That's why CBs and GKs need to have the most intense levels of concentration.

It's also why they are the positions in a team that young players are least likely to be trusted in.

I'd still sell him to bring in someone better. We overpaid for this guy, considering what he has to offer.

He could start as a smaller club, but at Juventus he should be destined for a bench role. However, given how much we paid for him, he'd be one expensive sub.

He's still young and with the exception of the one fuckup he does in every game, he's pretty good. Maybe loan him out, because I see a lot of potential in him.

One fuckup is all it takes. And one fuckup every game? As a defender, you shouldn't be fucking up at all!
That's why I'd like to see him out on loan so he can improve on the mental part of his game. Possibly to a team where he can take a leadership role, I really think that'd be good for his concentration.

Nice, like Del Piero is nice? :D

No, but seriously, he's obv not good enough right now but all he's missing is such a small piece of the puzzle. He's got the skill.
