Specially Italians, if Bonucci played in WC his price would probably be doubled.
    Probably.

All of the sudden prices went up. It's funny how Pepe is worth 7.5mln, Matri 18, Pazzini 20 etc.

I like his confidence at the back, he never looks flustered.
    Yet he makes many mistakes.

But this season both him and Chiellni made many mistakes. I still think they can be a good duo with better fullbacks, but never amazing. Both are them are kinda slow and don't have much brain, technique and ability of passing to step on a bigger level.

Best duo IMO will be Silva - Mexes next season, if French moves to Milan.

I see your point. But now it's not just us but all clubs are overpaying for Italians but yeah, we pay the most.

Inter did it for Ranocchia and Pazzini. This summer we'll probably see Montolivo and some others going for sky high prices.

i hope i will not see the day that montolivo wearing black and white,i prefer to see de silvestre in juve rather than monto.
and you can add also, clubs like manc barca and real make this hype by offering alot of money for every player

Gotta love the constant comparisons to Man U, Barca, Real Madrid's purchases
It's not about comparisons, it's about Real,Shitty and Chelski paying enourmous amounts cash for shitty players that got the transfer market to this state. You have to pay 15-20 million for worthless pieces of crap like Montolivo and D'Agostino.
P.S.Only in England a Luca Toni-level lump can cost 35 million.Only in England chimp like Lescott can cost 24 million pounds.

Ranocchia was better last season at Bari while he sucks this season at Inter.

Bonucci was decent at Bari and now nothing but decent or sometimes good here. He has potential but he's nothing special.

IMO neither of them are worth their prices.
    Basically.

15m and 18m for these two is absolute craziness.

All in the hopes of finding "the next great Italian defender" in this domestic CB drought.

Luckily for us we have the last and best of these - Chiellini.

Pretty much. The only way to justify these price tags is because of their "potential".
But both Bonucci & Ranocchia have been underwhelming this season, so it's way too soon for us to claim we picked the right one while Inter picked the wrong one.

Bonucci just gave Vucinic the golden path just stepped aside and made Storari make some Glorious saves :disagree: He had no authority around the box he has to develop more

That's one of his biggest problems and I hope he rectifies that side of his game. He does have the potential to be a great CB though, Im pretty confident he will reach those levels one day. It's only his 2nd full season of Serie A after all.

I hope so but more than a couple of blunders from the young defender... Like the unneeded red card for that ridiculous vicious tackle on Sanchez and acts dumbfounded but anyways I agree and hope he developes into a world class level :shifty: we will see

    Bonu did it purposely :D
