Sometimes you need to sacrifice one vital player during his peak expensive to gain 2 new ones. If somebody offers us close to 30m (Monaco!) for Leo we should sell. Use half to sign a replacement and the other half to sign one good project, maybe someone like Lamela who's value could go up again.

Hummels is even more blunder prone defender than Bonucci and I wouldn't spend 20m for him never in my life. He is for sure better in 4-men back line than Leo, though.

I have been watching Borussia games almost every week this season, to be frank. And I really doubt he would add any significant increase of quality over Bonucci. He is REALLY mistake prone defender, he used to have really bad games, with a lot of easy errors, missed passes and risky tackles. Bonucci and Hummels have the same problem - concentration. That's why I believe it's just not worth a shot to exchange Bonucci for Hummels, especialliy if we had to pay some crazy money for Mats.

I have been watching Borussia games almost every week this season, to be frank. And I really doubt he would add any significant increase of quality over Bonucci. He is REALLY mistake prone defender, he used to have really bad games, with a lot of easy errors, missed passes and risky tackles. Bonucci and Hummels have the same problem - concentration. That's why I believe it's just not worth a shot to exchange Bonucci for Hummels, especialliy if we had to pay some crazy money for Mats.

I believe you, but I've watched like 10-12 games for the guy this season and he was quiet great at them.

Plus try to re-watch the German cup Final against Bayern Munich, his performance in that game alone > bonehead whole career till date. He had "many" moments in situations against Robben 1-1 and managed to stop him not to mention stoping others brilliantly.

Bonucci's legs would shake like a leaf if he faces one of serie A average attackers in a 1-1 situation let alone a player like Robben or Ribery.
