How do you people rate his season so far? Compared to the last one at least.

last season he was very good. he made some mistakes but they were very rare and they werent in important matches. this season he started good but is terrible last 2 months. so i would say:
last season 8.5
this season 5.5

How do you people rate his season so far? Compared to the last one at least.

I think he's doing fine this season.

Started out very well and I think his only major blunder has been in the home game against Galatasaray (huge error at a terrible moment, but still just one major error).

Gets a hard time from people who like to get on at him about deflections or being unlucky with shots going through his legs, but is actually developing rather well.

If you were to look at his tackling and ability to defend one on one now compared to a couple of years ago, I think you'd see a huge improvement.

Can't really remember what he was up to last season, so can't make a comparison.

Most pagelle gave Bonucci between 7.5-8.0 for last season. Seems about right to me.

So far this season I'd say 6.5, based on that. He's quite clearly a better defender than when he arrived, but if we are adding nitpicking to 3-4 obvious mistakes and 1 terrible mistake then I'd say overall he has a bit of catching up to do.

Where have you seen this? I rarely see any paper giving player rating above 7.5, even when they put in staggering performance and for season as well.

I am shocked and amazed how casually you mention his error, considering how much of a hardass analyse every last thing that players, especialy defenders do.
