His ball playing has become world class. My opinion of him as has changed so much (mostly because of his offense, his defense is still a question for me) that I was furious when Ogbonna started at sweeper against Copenhagen.

Just a total fail of a match for Conte, still can't get over it.

Agree wholeheartedly - it would have made a huge difference if he had played CB that game.

The RCB and LCB's are meant to be great tacklers, one thing Bonucci is not as yet, and the CB should be a top ball player, one thing Bonucci definitely is. It was obvious we were missing this outlet during the match yet Conte persisted with keeping him at RCB...

I'd like to add, that against this crapshit teams like verona, he parnered Ogbonna pretty well.

Both have good passing, and really allowed us to pile on the pressure.

Obviously, bonucci has the better passing range and quality, but it felt so natural when ogbonna was near him, and that level op passing, normally unseen for defenders, left the opponent chasing the defenders who easely kept possession and distributed the play

THIS, is another thing that gives us tactical dept and options. Just like the addition of tevez (new creative outlet+massive class) and llorente (targetman) was.

in b4 sell sell sell

in b4 suns panick mode about not being able to keep our players.

in b4 joe explains how selling bonucci will help finance 11 news players , most of whom are unproven youngsters that will magically replace our entire starting eleven

in b4 cronios posts an essay about ending the tyranny of bonucci.
