Juventus To Pounce For Ledesma?

Juventus are preparing to hatch a cunning plan which will relieve Lazio of unwanted midfielder Christian Ledesma, according to Il Corriere Dello Sport.

The Bianconeri have been looking for a decent midfielder as they attempt to off load Tiago from their books. Now, Biancocelesti man Ledesma could be the Old Lady’s next arrival.

Il Corriere Dello Sport reports that Juve boss Claudio Ranieri is keen on Ledesma, who is on his way out from the Stadio Olimpico. The Argentine has fallen out with coach Delio Rossi and president Claudio Lotito, so an exit looks likely.

Juve are now trying to convince Lazio to part company with their player and they have designed two plans in order to facilitate a move. Plan A involves a loan deal with the right to buy him permanently. Plan B, alternatively, would involve a permanent deal via hard cash.

Lazio are keen to get rid of him as Lotito will risk losing Ledesma on a Bosman next season. The player has also threatened to use FIFA’s article 17 rule, which states that players can break their contracts with their clubs under certain circumstances.

Juventus are lying in wait and they will try to seal the deal this week, as the transfer window closes for business next Sunday.

we need a guy like Ivanovic for the D and Lucho for the mid. We'll probably end up with nobody on D and Appiah for the mid because he's free if we move Tiago. PATHETIC!!!

offfffffff ....poor names agian
My point exactly. Ledesma, Appiah, Terizzli, not exactly world beaters. We'll receive 25millioneuros-30million euros in CL revenue when we qualify for the CL group stage. Why don't we try to sign quality midfielders like Moutinho, Lucho & Hamsik and in defence the likes of Corluka, Santacroce etc WTF is it rubbish like Ledemsa, Terizzili, Appiah.

Hamsik is a no no, napoli wont let him go. I think we tried to approach him somewhere during this mercato, but they wouldn't budge.

We're also linked with zabaleta, how good is he?

The midfielder was tipped to leave the Stadio Olimpico this summer because he was annoyed with the club’s unwillingness to renew his current deal.

Juventus, Napoli and Fiorentina have all shown interest but it doesn’t seem as if he will join any of them this term.

“The player would have preferred a contract renewal before the pre-season got underway,” the agent told Radio Incontro.

“There was no deal and thus he may use the Article 17 rule in order to wriggle out of his contract.

“To be honest I think he will remain at Lazio this year. The player is an important part of the team and I don’t think Delio Rossi would want to lose him.”

Although the agent believes Ledesma will stay, he revealed that neither he nor his client will consider a renewal if president Claudio Lotito offered one.

“Now we will not consider renewing even if Lotito came calling,” continued D’Ippolito.

“We will wait until the end of the season then we will see what happens.

“We are not thinking about a new deal at all.”

Lotito doesn’t seem like he wants the player to remain and he recently stated Ledesma could leave now if he wanted to.

That's because Sucko offered 14million for 50%ownership. Of course they say no to that. But if we offered 30million euros they would most probably sell:tup: Zabaleta is a good fullback & would definitley be an upgrade on the useless Zebina & the average Grygera. And his buy-out clause is 8million, easily affordable. So why the club have not tried to sign him is quite strange.

You're living in fantasies my friend. Napoli have been firm about their unwillingness to sell their youngsters, they want to keep them. Because as you know they are working hard on becoming a contender in the near future. Besides napoli rejected a 25 million euro bid from inter for hamsik, its not about money, nor about secco.

That would be a last minute transfer, the money we will get from CL qualifiers, will be donated to Fiat, if we manage to sell Tiago, a part of his salary will pay Ledesma's salary and a part of the transfer income will pay Ledsma's transfer.
The rest of Tiago's salary and transfer profit will be also donated to Fiat...
