I kinda liked Rinaudo yesterday. He was reading the game very well, I'd dare say better than anyone else at the back. He's very fast for a tall guy so he managed to cover lots of space and prevent Cossu from employing Cagliari's left winger. That never happens with Motta around and almost all opponent's attacks go from our right side because there is always a free man there.
I also liked his clearances. The stats say that he made 6 clearances yesterday, more than anyone in our team. His passing was perfect. Made 16 defensive passes and all were successful passes. In attack he made 7 passes and 6 found a Juve man. He also had 1 successful cross and 6 intercepted passes.
Really good debut for him.

You didn't buy this shit, did you? :D

I did, it's pretty true...a personal victory for him when Cossu was subbed off.

The positive thing about this season is that the injuries seem to come to players like Rinaudo, Martinez, De Ceglie and Amauri instead of Chiellini, Bonucci, Marchisio, Melo or Del Piero

Rinaudo undergoes operation

Before the match against Manchester City, Leandro Rinaudo began to suffer progressively of an acute lumbar pain. In the days following this, the pain spread towards the whole right leg.

Last Monday, the player underwent a thorough series of radiological tests under Professor Faletti and a specialized neurosurgical examination under Professor Benech at the Fornaca Clinic. Such tests showed the presence of a herniated disc on the right L5-S1.

This morning he underwent electromagnetic testing which confirmed the need for an immediate surgical operation.

For this reason, tonight, Leandro Rinaudo will undergo an operation L5-S1 under Professor Franco Benech at the Fornaca Clinic in Turin.

Could be out for pretty much the rest of the season. I'm guessing we're gonna use Ferrero or Camilleri as our 4th choice atleast until january.
